The Games End, a Novel of Adventure and Roamance

African Elephant

Book about elephants

The Games End brings awareness to the poaching of elephants, and how if we don’t start saving the elephants they will no longer be with us. The Author has been to Africa himself many times and witnessed the tragedies, from which he got the inspiration needed to write the book.

“The Games End” is a  Hollywood  and African novel about Ahmed, a massive tusk elephant in  Kenya  who captivated  Hollywood  throughout the 1950’s and 1970’s. (Ahmed is stuffed and stands in front of the  Nairobi   Museum  in  Kenya  . Former President Kenyatta issued a degree to protect him when he was alive). The film story is a “Moby Dick” theme played out with the great elephant Ahmed, that captures the adventure and romance of its cast as they find themselves in the African bush to save the game, but running into opposition every way they turn.  Eighteen-year-old ASTRID, a Tanzanian, and MOLO, her African helper, find her pet elephant dead in a poachers trap.  She becomes hysterical captures the poacher, and puts him in his trap and leaves.
First, it was the droughts that was killing the elephant herds in the seventies, and then the Japanese in the eighties and now it’s the Chinese responsible  for poaching the elephants in  Africa .  A hundred thousand were killed last year for their ivory. Very soon, we will only find them in zoos.  Is this a tragedy? Look up my website:https://thegamesendnovel.wordpress.com and see where  we can help.
